![]() Adoption Process All animals are adopted from Wet Nose. Prospective foster animal owners are carefully screened before allowing an adoption to take place. We inspect the property where the animal is to be homed to ensure that it is adequate for the specific breed. The animals are never sold, they remain the property of Wet Nose after adoption and may not be sold or given to another person without the prior consent and approval of Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre. Should the person adopting the animals be unable to keep the animal anymore, the animal has to be given back to Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre with all the proper documentation.
All dogs adopted from Wet Nose receive vouchers that entitle you to some free training sessions at selected dog schools - and we urge you to take advantage of this. The classes are great fun for both owner and dogs and even older dogs can benefit from them - no dog is too old to learn. Also please read our "Guidelines on owning a dog" available with every adoption as well as on the Wet Nose website. And if you do have behavioural problems you have the option of a free telephonic consultation with an animal behaviourist whose suggestions really work provided they are followed. Our Adoption Fees are: Dogs: R450.00
Cats: R350.00 The adoption fee includes innoculations, deworming, sterilisation and micro chipping on certain breeds. Contact Details Plot 75
